The tapering body is decorated with rocailles and flowers, while the intervening fields are articulated by horizontally punched wavy lines. The cast handle terminates in two fox heads. The cover is decorated with foliage and a rosette-shaped ornament and is surmounted by a square knop. Miniature versions of larger vessels were not necessarily made as children’s toys; they may also have served as decorative objects.
